Natural Food Recipes
By Lynn, webmaster of A Natural Food Diet | Natural Food Recipes
Below are some of my recipes for cooking and serving natural, real foods.
The recipes below are my recipes, adapted by me for my all-natural, whole foods diet. Since they represent my own home-cooking, and I'm not a chef, I can't guarantee you'll love them all. However, I will say you should give them a try. I love each and every one of them, and they all fit my new natural food diet lifestyle.
- Spicy & Quick Chili
- Chili Salad (uses Spicy & Quick Chili)
- Shrimp & Bacon Salad
- Crockpot Bean and Bacon Soup
- Cheddar Chicken with Onions, Mushrooms, & Green Peppers
- Vanilla & Honey Milk
Many of the recipes you already love can easily be adapted to a natural food lifestyle, simply by making a few judicious substitutions, and if you're new to cooking because you've spent most of your life relying on processed foods and convenience foods, don't be afraid to try anything. I've occasionally made some stuff I won't ever revisit. That's a hazard of experimentation. On the flip side, that experimentation led me to my Chili Salad, and that's become one of my favorite dishes.

I don't agree with everything in this book (for example, I think dairy products are fine if they're certified organic), but it's a great place to start if you need help designing your own natural food diet.
