Vanilla & Honey Milk
By Lynn, webmaster of A Natural Food Diet | Natural Food Recipes
The recipe below is my recipe, adapted by me for my all-natural, whole foods diet. Since it represents my own home-cooking, and I'm not a chef, I can't guarantee you'll love it. However, I will say you should give it a try. This is a great change from plain milk and is great as an after dinner drink because it really satisfies a sweet tooth.
Ingredients for Vanilla & Honey Milk
- 2 - 3 drops pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon honey (or 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure maple syrup)
- 6 oz organic milk
Mix vanilla, honey, and milk in a glass until the honey is dissolved. I usually only use 1 teaspoon of honey, but you can use more if you want something even sweeter, or even substitute maple syrup which brings out another great flavor.
